Every app you install Apptakes on, with its tester reports right under it. Testers see the approved beta notice and the floating feedback button — never this page.
Get started in three steps
- Register your app — just tell us its name below. Nothing in your app changes; you get install steps made for it.
- Install it — click Get the script tag on your app and copy the instructions straight into your AI coding assistant (or follow them yourself). It's one script, no package. Or connect your AI below and just say “install Apptakes”.
- Open your app and use it like a tester — accept the beta notice, click around, tap the microphone. When the visit ends, its report shows up here under your app (and by email, if you leave that on).

Connect your AI assistant
Let Claude Code, Cursor or any assistant that supports MCP work with Apptakes directly: “install Apptakes in this app”, “what did testers report this week?”, “fix the errors from the last session”.
Your AI can
- list your apps and whether they're installed
- register a new app in your Apptakes account (this doesn't change your code)
- get the exact install steps for your codebase
- check that sessions are arriving
- read your tester reports, notes and errors
- mark a tester note seen / planned / shipped / declined
It cannot
- delete anything
- see or change billing
- see any other account
- run anything on your computer — your assistant edits your code only with your approval
- each connection's private access code is shown once; we keep only a scrambled fingerprint of it
- disconnect any assistant here, any time; last use is shown
- every call is logged below
- tester-written text is labelled untrusted, so your AI reads it as data, not instructions

Set up Apptakes for one of your apps
Don't worry — nothing here touches your app or your code. We've made it very easy for your favorite AI assistant to place the Apptakes button into the app you're beta testing. Then send it out to testers knowing you'll have a record of every visit: who used it and when, what they did, what they said, and any errors they hit.
- Tell us what your app is called (below). We register it in your Apptakes account and make its install line — your app is not changed.
- Hand the install steps to your AI (or paste the one line yourself). It adds a single script to your beta app — nothing else, and only with your approval.
- Send your beta out. Every tester's visit shows up here under the app, with a plain-English report.
